Trofeo produces interesting, often compelling wine and the way terracotta interacts with it is fascinating: no brutish oak to be found. There’s more depth of flavour here, although it’s by no means a big wine, with feathery light tannins and fine acidity with a delightful mix of varietal characters. The palate is plush and extends long to finish on a high. - Jane Faulkner Aug 2023

Fitting with the lighter style of the 2021 vintage, this wine still packs in plenty. Red cherries tending to dark lift from the surface of this pale ruby drop. Rich, concentrated fruit prevail in the mouth with plenty of spice lingering. A well integrated wine with supple tannins that is drinking well now and will continue into the future.
